TEAM LIMITS apply unless we can register more certified judges – we know that teams want and deserve certified judges so we will not overfill teams unless we have enough judges.
2025 MASTER SERIES ENTRY FEE
Early Bird entry fee PRIOR to January 15th – Saturday only $325 Sunday only $325 Saturday AND Sunday $600
Regular entry fee January 16th to March 1st – Saturday only $375 Sunday only $375 Saturday AND Sunday $700
2025 BACKYARD ENTRY FEE – 2 meats-chicken and pork ribs. Turn in times will be the same as master series turn in times

2025 PAYMENT INFORMATION
$100.00 deposit due at time of entry form submission/deposit will lock in the early bird fee until January 15th. Remaining balance due will be invoiced after 1/1/2025. Credit card processing fee will be added to invoice. If you wish to pay in full at time of registration, please email bbqgivesback@gmail.com for total balance.
After the team entry form is submitted online, payment of the deposit MUST be made via PayPal to bbqgivesback@gmail.com. If you need help with this, please contact bbqgivesback@gmail.com
NOTE: Paypal charges will read from “Burn Survivor Foundation” as this is our charity partner
Team entry will not be complete until deposit payment is received via online payment.
From January 16th to March 1st, the regular entry fee must be paid in full at time of entry form submission. For these dates, once entry form is received, paypal invoice will be sent via email for full entry payment.
FULL balance due for all entries must be paid PRIOR to March 1st.

VA GRANDS CHAMPIONSHIP – MASTER TEAMS
The BBQ Gives Back Contest is pleased to host within the KCBS contest, the VA Grands. The contest is made up of Grand Champions or Reserve Grand Champions (if the GC is previously eligible) from VA Contests in 2024. Eligible teams will be sent a separate email. For more information, see the VA Grands link under the Information for Teams tab.
MABA CUP FINALS – MASTER TEAMS
MABA will present awards to the top finishers from the teams in attendance that won their respective states MABA Cups in 2024. These 8 MABA Cup winners, or their runner ups, that attend our contest will be eligible for cash prizes paid out by MABA. Eligible teams will be sent a separate email. For more information, see the MABA link under the Information for Teams tab.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES – depending upon what day(s) you are competing, the following are the times to make note of:
Thursday – arrival after 12 noon for teams who have paid for Thursday campsite fee
Friday – arrival after 8 am for those teams cooking Saturday
Saturday – arrival after 8 am for those teams cooking Sunday only. Teams not competing on Sunday must depart by 8 pm
Sunday – all teams must depart by 8 pm
CAMPSITE AMENITIES
MASTER and BACKYARD SERIES sites are 50′ wide X 50′ long, 30 and 50 amp power, 110 volt power, water, cable and wi-fi at each site. Bethpage camp-resort charges for any night that the campsite is in use. For an additional fee of $50.00, teams may choose to add nights for campsite stays that are not included in the entry fee. This option is listed on the entry form.
TEAM SITE REQUESTS

GIVING BACK to 2 organizations:
- The first is Team Thanksgiving food bank. On Saturday only, we are asking teams to turn in their leftover proteins (at 2 pm after the 4 meat turn ins are complete). We also ask for teams to donate one grocery bag of dry and/or canned goods if they are able. To see a list of requested items, please click on the GIVING BACK link above.
- The second is Burn Survivors Foundation. Since its formation, the mission of the Burn Survivors Foundation has been and will continue to be to improve the lives of all burn survivors, their families, and caregivers. The Burn Survivors Foundation provides affordable, educational, and outdoor recreational activities that foster a feeling of love and fellowship. The Burn Survivors Foundation will continue to provide a future for all through hope. If interested, cash or check donations will be accepted throughout the contest weekend. THURSDAY night social event
Teams, judges and reps are invited to participate in a friendly discussion about bbq related topics. We may provide light supper food and/or snacks – (TBD at a later date). FREE no charge for social – BYOB your desired beverage

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY – Grab and go breakfast provided immediately following Cook’s church
LODGING
11/13/24 SOLD OUT if interested in wait list for cottages, email bbqgivesback@gmail.com– COTTAGES: There are a limited number of on site campground cottages available for reservations. These may be reserved on the team entry form. All cottages have kitchens and dining/sitting area. DO NOT contact Bethpage Camp-Resort regarding cottages as the reservations MUST be thru organizer.
HOTELS: We have secured two local hotels with BBQ rates. All reservations and payment will be the responsibility of individual team members. See LODGING page for info.

COMMUNICATION
Organizer will confirm receipt of team entry form and payments. Emails will also be sent at the beginning of January, February and March with any important information to be shared. Facebook and website updates will be posted as needed.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
You will be required to acknowledge agreement to waiver of liablity on the team entry form.
In consideration of your submitting a team entry, I intend to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against Bethpage Camp-Resort, Burn Survivors Foundation, BBQ Gives Back contest, KCBS, their representatives, successors, and assigns, for any and all injuries, including any COVID related issues, suffered by me in this event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to Bethpage Camp-resort, Burn Survivors Foundation, BBQ Gives Back contest, KCBS, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to the terms of this waiver of liability, and I will abide by the rules and regulations of the 2025 BBQ Gives Back contest. Acceptance of waiver of liability also constitutes authorization of credit card charges.
